tHis is where the mirror room was in 2016-2021

In May 2016, the WE ARE DATA MIRROR ROOM was officially opened. As part of the FabCity Campus, the installation was in Amsterdam for 10 weeks. We thought we would travel through the Netherlands with the MIRROR ROOM for a year, but it has become five years. The topic of privacy and personal data remains relevant! The MIRROR ROOM and CUBE have now been placed at more than 40 locations and more than 12,000 visitors have made the choice to publish their personal profile, or rather delete it.

MIND YOUR DATA

28 January is the annual European Day of Privacy (Data Protection Day). The purpose of this day is to better inform European citizens about their rights regarding the use of their personal data by governments, companies and other organisations. 11 February is Safer Internet Day worldwide. This day is dedicated to online safety and digital skills of children and young people. These two days were used by the Eindhoven University of Technology to conduct a 'Mind your Data' campaign.

'A week further’ in Almelo

A week full of workshops to inspire the municipal organisation and encourage them to go a step further. Everything about the themes of ownership, out-of-the-box and collaboration. With the aim of further enhancing the interaction with the city, the residents, entrepreneurs and partners.

INNOVATE ARNHEM - THE ALTERNATE FUTURE

Saturday 6 October 2018 at the largest innovation festival in Gelderland. They will explore how art, technology and science can work together to make the future of tomorrow possible.

From 12-22 hr. at Industriepark Kleefse Waard (IPKW) in Arnhem. Admission to the festival is free.
